As it turns out, all those who submitted guesses as to the location selected Calgary. It was that snowy period in September that gave it away.
Needlework Tuesday is a regular weekly post where I share the progress of my various needlework projects over the past week. I enjoy the encouragement that I receive from my readers and in return visit their blogs and cheer them on with theirs. You are welcome to grab the cute little mouse and create your own Needlework Tuesday post. Leave a comment with a link and I'll be sure to visit with you
My sister pointed out that the scarf is long enough to share with your sweetie when out for a stroll. Smart lady.
Did you notice that Nancy has bare feet. Rather a contrast from the overkill of the scarf. While she was visiting we followed the Chocolate Trail in Stratford, Ontario. A fun afternoon adventure, and rather tasty.
Have I kept you waiting long enough. The winner of the contest, selected by Rafflecopter, is Marie. She has won a gift certificate to Book Depository (one I figure out how to purchase one).
The weather is getting chillier here and making me want to knit socks. For those readers who knit socks, what is your favourite pattern that you have either used or plan to use.
Mister Linky is waiting below for a link to your current needlework post, or to a link about the socks you have knit.

OMG, Heather. Those scarves are so awesome. Gimormously Awesome! Both of you look terrific! I hope you both enjoy them.
Thanks for picking my name (assuming I'm the only "Marie" who entered). Yippee!!
I won't have a NT post this week. I didn't get around to finishing my felted slippers. I like your elastic idea for getting them to fit me better, but I'm not totally sure if that's what I'm going to do. I was also working on a cabled scarf, but didn't get much done.
Have a great week!
Hi Heather,
Been a while since I participated in Needlework Tuesday. But finally got a post done. Love your scarf, beautiful! I'm think about doing a crochet one. How did you determine the temps for this? Have a great day!!
