This is a very cool children's book. It goes step by step through the many innovations that the Inuit have developed to enable them to thrive in one of the World's most inhospitable climates.

There is enough information to keep parents reading with their children. It is sure to prompt comparisons to many of the items that we use everyday in the winter months without even realizing their history.
