I loved all the comments that were left. You all made my day.
Now I want to make someone else's day.
I went back to that store, Delirium Clothing, and bought a second pair.
The socks are a peachy pink colour with forest green heels and toes. Sized to fit most ladies feet.

I have no sushi adventure in me at all. I have a California roll each and every time. The socks are just as cute as can be.
lol - I'd love to enter. My mom would love those socks. I have never even tried sushi nor do I intend to unless whatever is inside is fully cooked. I have to say though that a plate of sushi sure does look pretty so I wish I did like it.

Sushi is a delightful excuse to eat pickled ginger!
Aud!
Cute, cute, cute!
My only Sushi experience was playing a slot machine called Sushi! The sushi symbols were the same color as those socks! I did not win anything, but I am willing to give it another try wearing those lucky socks. :)
What a fun give-a-way.
I just published it on two of my blogs. :)
Cute socks! I just got back from a cruise and had some wonderful sushi on board...and even some of the desserts were in the shape of sushi! Thanks for the chance!
I've had sushi once in my life; my brother took me out to try it...he ADORES it! I liked it too, just not crazy about any of the ones with cream cheese, but my are they an art form unto themselves! No where in my neck of the woods is there sushi, but I would love to gift these to my brother's wife...it would be fun for her to wear when he and she do go out for sushi.
mmm, Sushi. The first time I tried it was last year. I thought it was all about raw fish, which sounded disgusting. My friends assured me there was more than that so I went off to Ye's with them. Now I try and go once a month and I have graduated to eating just about everything. Favourites are crunchy salmon rolls and mango rolls. It's now one of my favourite places to go.
Aaaand I just tweeted it

I have never tried sushi (my husband cooks, and it is probably not his taste).
I can offer you a sushi quotation from one of my stories, however:
“Sushi fishi takey waiki” Lady Grey was genuinely proud of her talent for languages and never missed a chance to practice. She pointed to the canapés, but the tiny Chinese just looked confused.
Oooh -- I would love to have these socks. How fun! Thanks so much for offering them.
I had sushi the first time when I spent a few months in Hawaii doing research when I was in grad school. Tuna, tuna, tuna -- my all-time favorite.
they are too cute!
Actually, I prefer ones with cooked fish...spicy shrimp roll is a fav.
Or, oddly, eel..
Those socks are adorable! Our local grocery store( Publix) has a good size selection of sushi but I'm still squeamish about trying it. I just can't get past the raw fish thing. Call me a culinary wimp . . .

Sushi is by far my favourite food! I love to make it myself and experiment with different filling. I love salmon & tuna nigiri and also tamagoyaki nirigi. As for rolls, I love avocado in my sushi :)

The socks are adorable!!! I love sushi, but I'm not that adventerous and mainly stick to rolls with various fillings: California Rolls (crab, avocado, etc.), tuna, salmon, garden (all veggies) to name a few.
Thanks for the giveaway!
When i lived in Japan my girlfriend and i went o our first sushi bar with the train of sushi. We had no idea what was what so just took stuff. I guess we took something really good or specail because the guy beside us got up to leave and the waitress came back with two beers for us from the guy because we ate that weird sushi. Will never forget that, but don't know what we ate to this day :)
Your sushi socks are very cute. I don't have sushi very often but I do like it. I'd like to try making some myself one day.
I am totally squeamish about the idea of eating raw fish. Sad but true. So, when we were in Hawaii with our son and his family and they wanted to go to a sushi restaurant, I was pretty apprehensive. I couldn't refuse it in front of the 2 grandkids. What lesson would that teach? Bottom line...what they ordered for me was delicious!
Thanks for commenting on my blog!
I was hesitant to try sushi for the first time, but when I did, I had what I call a 3-step reaction. On the first bite, I thought I was going to gag. The second bite wasn't too shabby. The third bite, I was hooked!

I am not a fan of sushi but my three children adore the stuff so it is always around! That sushi fabric is something - never seen anything like that before.
These are so cute!
I love sushi! Although for the most part I only eat California rolls...
Sushi is not a favourite of mine.
Mind you the Elmira maple syrup festival is something I love.
I haven't been there for a couple of years.
I do love the sushi socks though.

I love sushi particularly how something with the same name can be completely different at two different places.
