It's my volunteer week and I am occupied helping to feed dozens of runners. They sure can eat after getting off the course. In the meantime, I am leaving a few photos of yarn bombing that I spied in New Zealand at the
Sculpture Gardens outside of Helensville. Photos by myself and my daughter.

Have a good week volunteering!
Very cool! We only have one that I know of here. It's a tree near a yarn store.
I'd probably do a few in our yard, but my husband would probably have me committed. ;)
So do people just knit and leave their knitting on trees? How fun. What are you feeding the runners?
What amazing creations, I'm especially taken with those mushrooms (toadstools?)
I love these yarnbombing examples! Great photos.
The to toadstools and fairies were cute, but the totem pole really made me smile!
Loving it, especially the mushrooms (?) and the fairies :) I hadn't heard of the term yarn bombing before! I've seen quite a few trees and lamp posts decorated with colourful knitted shawls, made by "guerilla knitters".
