Elmira Needlesisters Quilt Show 2014 Part 2 - Embroidered Quilts

On Tuesday I showed photos of the black and white quilts from my guild show. If you missed them. you can view them at this link. Today I am sharing quilts with large amounts of embroidery.  I don't know what it is about this area, but the quilters here seem to be drawn to embroidery.  It never fails, but each year this show features several embroidered quilts.  These are generally ones where the quilter has purchases pre-printed squares that he/she  then embroider with his/her own threads.  Many of these are then donated for the MCC auction that I told you about in the earlier mentioned post.
